I put it, in its protective envelope, on the kitchen counter and went out. When we got home, I walked in and saw nine balls of expensive yarn unwound and dragged all over the house, tangled in the furniture, chewed, and soggy. My husband took one look at my face and dragged me back out the door. Lucky for the dog.
