Pauli and Zoe were tearing around the yard while I was photographing the toad and there was a collision between Pauli, my camera and my finger. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's swollen and purple. Luckily, I don't think it will slow down my knitting. I'm planning on starting my Rusted Root tonight.
After our adventures with nature, Little Man did some painting with water:
And ate with a fork for the first time:
He's not perfect yet (as you can tell by the amount of mac n' cheese on his bib), but he's getting the hang of it.
All in all, an exciting day!

Oh, no! It's your knitting finger!
Painting and using a fork in one day! How exciting (and he has less mac n' cheese on his shirt than my 10-year-old, so he's doing fine).
Love all the wildlife pics..in fact, I love ALL of your pictures. You have a good eye! Speaking of wildlife, PK found a lovely black widow spider living behind an electrical box on our patio which just happens to be butted up to Fin's sandbox. YIKES!!! We took some pictures and promptly killed it. The pics aren't great but I'll put the best one up on the blog. Thanks for all the comments left on the blog, btw...you rock!!! (I hope this doesn't post 2x...gotta love blogger)
